It is nearly December 2011 and a large mass range for the Higgs has been excluded. A smaller range of 114–141 GeV remains. Physicists at CERN say that they have enough data to sift thru to say something by the end of December (2011) about the likelihood of the Higgs existence.

Supersymmetry (SUSY). More physicists seem to be questioning whether it is correct, since none of the partner particles predicted by SUSY have been found.
